Women’s volleyball continues its run; win streak now at 14

The women's volleyball team extended its winning streak to 14 matches with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-9) sweep of Southwestern College in Chula Vista last night.

In a battle between two Pacific Coast Athletic Conference teams, the Olympians improved to 14-0 overall, while the Jaguars dropped to 3-6 and 2-2 in league action.

Sophomore Kailyn Jäger continue her dominant play with 13 kills and Olivia Ostler followed right behind with 10 kills.

Next up for the Olympians is a crucial match against rival Grossmont College. Both teams are undefeated in the conference and the team that comes out victorious will have momentum going into the second half of the schedule. First serve is scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4 at San Diego Mesa College.
