SAN DIEGO, CA (9/29/2023) -- Palomar College collected their second sweep of the week, this time over San Diego Miramar College.
The Comets took set one 25-18 and set two 25-15. The two battled it out until the end, but the Comets got it done in the end and took set three 25-22.
Sophomore Hope Ihem led the team with eight kills while freshmen Sonsi Jarvis and Janell Spires each had seven, Delina Becker finished with six. Sophomore Mayara Swillens finished with 21 assists, four digs and a team-high four blocks. Brisa Necochea and Ihem both finished with three blocks.
Palomar moves to 5-8 overall and 3-2 in conference play. They will host Imperial Valley College at home on Wednesday night for a 5 p.m. first serve.
