Volleyball's Season Comes to an End at the 3C2A State Championships

The American River College Volleyball program had their season come to an end at the 3C2A State Championships in Walnut, California.

The Beavers, who came into the championships as the #4 seed from the north, fell to event state champion San Diego Mesa College, the #1 seed from the south.  The Beavers saw an 11-match win streak end as they were paced by Morgan Castaneda with nine kills, Reese Ampi's 10 digs, plus five kills an three blocks by Allaina Houk.

The Beavers close out the 2023 season with a final overall record of 24-7, a conference record of 14-2, a fifth straight appearance in the 3C2A State Championships, and a final ranking as the #6 volleyball program in the state of California.
