The MiraCosta women's volleyball team are still coming together. Adding a handful of players just before the start of the season, the team is trying to find their rhythm, and Wednesday night was a good start.  The Spartans swept the Southwestern Jaguars with final scores of 25-11, 25-19, and 25-11.  

MiraCosta had a balanced attack with Daysha Halbert leading the way with nine kills, hitting 0.316.  Ana Lara and Quinn Curran both added eight kills, and Curran hit an impressive 0.545.  In the middle, Hazel Veteto added five kills.

After earning their first conference win, the Spartans will host Grossmont College on Friday at 6:00 pm.
