TORRANCE – Grossmont College pairs Madi Bogle and Alana Embry swept through the competition at the California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Regional pairs tournament at El Camino College on Saturday.
Bogle and Embry ran through the bracket going undefeated.
In the finals, the pair went up against Ventura's No. 2 pair of Ashley Johnson and Olivia Sletten by scores of 21-15, 21-13.
With the win, the No. 2 pair in the Country will be the top seed from So. Cal. next weekend at the State tournament.
