Cuyamaca College, August 25, 2023, 6:00 PM - The Eagles of L.A. Mission College swooped into Cuyamaca College and displayed an impeccable performance, handing the hosts a comprehensive 3-0 defeat.

From the get-go, the Eagles showcased their dominance. Winning the first set 25-19, they clearly set the tone for the match. They then soared even higher, blitzing through the second set 25-14 and clinching the third set 25-19, sealing a well-deserved victory.

While Cuyamaca attempted to put up resistance, especially in the first and third sets, the Eagles' prowess was evident throughout the match. The Eagles were particularly impressive in their attacks, registering a hitting percentage of .316, compared to Cuyamaca's .105.

For the Eagles, Temple Vasquez and Jaya Davison were stars on the court, both delivering 8 kills each. Davison, in particular, was a force to be reckoned with, contributing 5 service aces and aiding the defense with 5 digs.
