The Saddleback women's volleyball team improved to 2-1 on the season with a sweep of Palomar College on Wednesday night inside the gymnasium. The Bobcats will host a tri tournament on Friday.
Saddleback cruised past Palomar (25-15, 25-14, 25-18) on Tuesday, rebounding from a disappointing loss at Pasadena City last Friday. The Bobcats had it on cruise control for most of the night, never trailing at any point during any set.
After cruising to wins in the opening two sets, Saddleback sprinted out to a 6-0 lead in the final set to quash any thoughts of a comeback.
Saddleback is now 2-1 on the season following the win. The Bobcats will host a tri-tournament on Friday against Chaffey College and San Diego City College. Saddleback will open with Chaffey at 10:00 AM. The Bobcats will finish with San Diego City at 2:00 PM. Chaffey and San Diego City will play at 12:00 PM.
