SAN MARCOS, CA (10/6/2023) -- Women's volleyball picked up their fifth conference win on Friday night when they defeated Cuyamaca College 3-0 in the Dome.

Palomar swiftly took care of Cuyamaca winning the three sets 25-18, 25-17 and 25-13. Janell Spires had a team-high nine kills, while Hope Ihem and Delina Becker each had eight. Sonsi Jarvis finished the night with six. Setters Mayara Swillens and Kylana Madayag finished with 19 and 10 assists, respectively. Becker finished with seven digs, while Spires finished with six and Swillens, Bailey Prieto and Candance Young each had five.

The Comets advance to 7-8 overall and 5-2 in conference play. They will be off on Wednesday and will be back in action on Friday against Southwestern College to finish the first round of conference play. First serve is scheduled for 5 p.m.
