Cats battle for a split

The Saddleback beach volleyball team split two matches on Friday at Irvine Valley College.  The Bobcats are now 2-2 on the season.

Saddleback battled against three opponents on Friday in Santa Monica College, San Diego City College and mother nature.  The trio of programs played in cold and wet weather on week two of the 3C2A beach volleyball season, as drizzle was consistent along with temperatures that maxed out in the high-50's. 

Saddleback came out slow in match one in falling to Santa Monica, 5-0.  The Bobcats then rebounded with a 3-2 victory over San Diego City to even their record at 2-2 for the year.  Saddleback won at the 1's, 2's and 5's in getting past the Knights in match two.  

Saddleback will be on the sand again on Friday, February 23, when they travel to Golden West College to face the Rustlers.  Match time is scheduled for 10:00 AM in Huntington Beach.
