Freshman catcher Samantha Green of Southwestern College and Bakersfield College sophomore infielder Atlantis Rede have been selected as the 3CFCA Co-Players of the Week, it was announced on Wednesday.

Freshman Jaguar catcher Samantha Green continued her hot start to her collegiate career during the second week of the 2020 season. Green went 7-for-13 (.531) in the batter's box, hitting a pair of doubles and two triples. Green also swiped a pair of bases. On the season, Green is hitting .514 with a 1.026 slugging percentage. Green prepped at Valhalla High School in El Cajon.
Co-Player of the Week - Atlantis Rede - Bakersfield College - Sophomore - Third Base
During the second full week of competition, Bakersfield College sophomore Atlantis Rede, was nearly impossible to get out. Rede went 7-for-14 at the plate, drawing six walks. She drove in a whopping 17 RBIs including hitting a pair of grand slams. On the season, Rede is hitting .583 for the Gades with a .667 on-base percentage, and is slugging .944. Rede is a local product for the Renegades, prepping at Centennial High School.
