Mesa wraps up PCAC title

The San Diego Mesa women's soccer team wrapped up a Pacific Coast Athletic Conference title with a 4-0 win against Southwestern College last Friday in Chula Vista.  It was the sixth PCAC title for the Olympians in the past seven years.

Mesa took a 3-0 lead in the opening half with goals from Nicki Miranda, Violet Reynard and Arianna ReVelo in taking a commanding lead into the locker room.  Reynard would add a second goal in the second half and now has a state-leading 32 goals for the year.

San Diego Mesa (18-1-1, 14-0-1) has one game remaining in Pacific Coast Athletic Conference play when they host Imperial Valley College on Friday.  The Olympians are currently No. 3 in power points in Southern California heading into the final game of the season.

CCCAA Regional seeds are set to be announced next Tuesday.
