SAN DIEGO, CA (4/24/2023) -- Palomar College's Jacob Rochman and San Diego Mesa College's Victoria Goff and Maddie Harris played integral roles in their respective teams winning conference championships last week and have been named this week's Athletes of the Week.

Rochman swam in three events last week for the PCAC Conference Championships and won all three, racking up 60 points for the Comets' total score of 711 points. Rochman recorded his fastest times this season.  In the 400Y IM, he finished with a Finals time of 4:09.94, a near nine seconds faster than his seed time of 4:18.91. On Saturday he swam his last two events and finished with a time of 16.52.20 in the 1650Y Free and 1:54.13 in the 200Y Fly.

Goff and Harris are the 2s pairs for the Olympians and helped lead their team to a second consecutive beach volleyball conference championship. Mesa went a perfect 12-0 this season on the sand. On Friday they battled it out against a tough Grossmont College team, but were able to pull away with the 3-2 win.
