Riverside Grabs Second Straight Sweep

For the second straight day, Riverside City College swept its competition after downing San Diego City College 9-0 Thursday afternoon.

The Tigers improve to 2-0 on the year, while the Knights drop to 1-1 overall.

Jordyn Sundberg/Madison Reynoso and Brianna Nikas and Caroline Cocker dominated their doubles matches (8-0) to give RCC an early lead.

Cocker didn't allow a single point on the day, beating her opponent 6-0, 6-0 in singles action.

The Tigers close out a busy week at home, hosting Antelope Valley College on Friday at 2 p.m.
