Owls Bounce Back with Griffin Defeat

After dropping a 17-4 loss to Long Beach City College to start the RCC Tournament, Citrus College bounced back with a 12-9 victory over Grossmont.

The Owls improve to 10-7 with the two results.

In the first game, Citrus was limited to just four goals, which came from Riley Bagley, Killian Pressley, Colton Vale and Thomas Gibson.

The Owls got their scoring back against the Griffins, with Bagle leading the charge with six goals. He also added five steals to keep his team in front. Dow and Vale also added two goals each, while Pressley and Logan Haberle each rattled in a goal to help secure the win.

Citrus is back in action on Saturday, taking on Palomar College first at 9 a.m.
