It was Exantus' fourth multi-goal game of the season and he has now scored seven goals during this seven-game unbeaten streak to bring his total to 13 on the season. He currently leads the Knights and the PCAC in goals. He is also tied for second-most assists in the conference with seven.
Jeorge Morales and Alberto Esparza each had an assist and goalkeeper Diego Garcia stopped six Mesa shots in the victory, which was the second over the Olympians this year.
San Diego City will surely need a good result at Cuyamaca (9-1-1 PCAC) on Tuesday in order to stay in contention for a playoff spot. That will be the second meeting of the season with Cuyamaca scoring the winning goal in the 89th minute in the previous game on Oct. 4, which was City's last loss.
