City Gets First PCAC Win
The San Diego City women's beach volleyball team split their two matches on Friday, getting a 4-0 win over Miramar and falling to Mt. San Jacinto, 5-0. The victory over Miramar was City's first PCAC win and its third overall this season.

City's No. 1 pair, Cassie Stevens and Kailey Vecchia, defeated Miramar's Niloo Jorbozeh and Nilly Ads in a tough 3-set match (21-16, 19-21, 15-13).
Allison Wygal and Lauren Eastman, City's No. 2 pair, earned a 21-6, 21-17 win over Abigail Jerrell and Ceara Bustamante.
The Knights also got a 2-set victory in the No. 3 spot with Lana Dy and Aamori Daniels taking their match 21-16, 21-11 over Miramar's Isabella Salvador and Angie Benitez.
The No. 4 pair of Diana Ramirez and Danna Gallardo got past Angelina Sanchez and Dakota Timms 21-7, 21-15 to complete the sweep over Miramar.
The Knights nearly got a win in No. 3 pairs against Mt. San Jacinto with Lana Dy and Aamori Daniels taking Anna Ayala and Jade Tolliver to three sets, but they fell 11-21, 21-14, 12-15.
City will be back at MiraCosta's courts on Friday, March 14 against Grossmont and MiraCosta.
