MiraCosta's Conference Champion Men's Soccer team kicks off the Fall season on Sunday, August 27th at 11:00 am with a home game against the Santa Monica College Corsairs from the Western State - North Conference.  Santa Monica College is located in the coastal resort city of Santa Monica which is surrounded by Los Angeles.

The MiraCosta Spartans won their Conference Championship last year with a record of 9-1-2.  The Spartans were one of the top defensive teams in the state last year, anchored by goalkeeper Jeshua Lombana who is returning this year.

MiraCosta's roster of thirty-three students is two-thirds Freshman and one-third Sophomores.  Many of them live in the Tri-City area but a few come from San Marcos, Escondido, Valley Center, San Diego, and some athletes come from Northern California.

The field is in great shape and we have brand new nets.  Come on out and cheer the Spartans on to victory Sunday at eleven o'clock.
