The MiraCosta women's beach volleyball team opened their conference campaign with two decisive wins.  The Spartan won their first match over Miramar College 5-0. then earned a 4-1 victory over Grossmont College. With the two wins, MiraCosta improves to 11-2 overall, and a perfect 11-0 over community colleges.  In the 1's line, Kiara Keibel and Alexis Jones cruise to two easy wins.  In the 2's line, Daysha Halbert and Daniela Szajkowski dominate Miramar and win a close result against Grossmont in two.  In the three line, Keira Heckel and Kate Beezer gave up only 16 points to Miramar, and then beat Grossmont in a third game.  In the 4's line, Gwen Mitchell and Feagaiga Naotala only give up 14 points to Miramar and then also win in three against Grossmont. In the 5's line Alexia Bigelow and Megan Jo Martin won by forfeit to Miramar because they didn't have enough players, then they lost in two to Grossmont.
