PCAC sends eight pairs to regionals

SAN DIEGO, CA (4/30/2024) -- The top eight seeds from the PCAC Pairs Tournament have advanced to the 3C2A SoCal Pairs Regionals at El Camino College on Friday and Saturday.

The PCAC Champions, Jaalyn Sotoa-Stuebing and Natalie Repetti, are the No. 2 seed in the tournament and will face the No. 31 seed of Blair and Mason from Orange Coast College. The PCAC runners-up, Janell Spires and Sonsi Jarvis are the No. 5 and will face the No. 28 seed from Orange Coast, Packer and Utterback. The PCAC Duo of the Year, Myah Gomez and Kailyn Jager were given the No. 9 seed and are set to face the No. 24 seed in Arnold and Witter from Cypress College. MiraCosta College's Elle Harrity and Jaiden Mistelski are the No. 14 seed and will face No. 19 Thomas and Olswang from Moorpark College. The other Spartan duo in the tournament is Allyson Alden and Emee Fellens as the No. 18 seed and they will face the No. 15 seed in Urena and Fields from Santa Monica College. Miramar is also sending Mia Fox and Zaria Henderson as the No. 22 seed and they will face No. 15 Green and Brewer from Mt. San Antonio College. Mesa's Emily Eltrich and Victoria Goff are the No. 25 and will play Ventura College's Rojelio and Swain as the No. 8 seed. The final team in the tournament for the conference is Mt. San Jacinto College's Josephine Springer and Brooklyn Thomas as the No. 27 seed. They will face Marocco and Dews from Irvine Valley College.
