The Grossmont men's swim and dive team captured the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference championship on Saturday at Southwestern College.  The Griffins won nine events, including four relay wins, to vault them to the top of the standings.

Grossmont and Mesa were neck and neck for most of the meet as the two programs combined for over 63% of the points possible during the three-day event.  The Griffins finished with five individual wins and four relay wins while Mesa had five individual wins and one relay victory.

Six different individuals won multiple events at the meet.  Grossmont's Austin Dickman was a star over the weekend, winning three different events.  Dickman won the 100 Fly, 100 Backstroke and 200 Backstroke, standing at the top of the podium on three occasions.  Palomar's Jarad Altman and George Peterson were two-time winners along with Mesa's John Dickerson and Sean Proctor.  Grossmont's Tristan Correia also won two events over the weekend.
