Mesa grabs PCAC title

The San Diego Mesa women's swim and dive team captured the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference championship on Saturday at Southwestern College.  The Olympians collected over 31% of the total points possible, winning 16 different events

Mesa finished with 764 points, beating the next closest team by over 200 points.  Palomar College and Grossmont College had a tight battle for second place, with the Comets edging the Griffins 556-552.  Southwestern College finished in fourth place (432) and Crafton Hills College fifth (140).

Mesa had five different athletes win two separate events as Kiri Flatter, Maya Fielding, Carly Lupien, Julie Parsons and Allyson Hansen all stood at the top of the podium on two occasions.  Palomar's Maddy Johnson was also a two-time winner at the event.

Mesa swept all five relay events.
