SAN DIEGO, CA (11/15/2022) -- Ryan Beery and the Grossmont Griffins competed in the CCCAA SoCal Regional Tournament after winning the conference last week while Palomar's Deajaenae Harvey and the Comets competed at the Lion's Club Tip-Off Crossover event at Mt. San Jacinto College and both student-athletes had outstanding performances. 

Beery scored two goals, had two assists and recorded four steals in their match against Riverside City College on Thursday afternoon. This is Beery's second athlete of the week accolade this season. 

Harvey, coming off a 38 point season-opening performance, didn't let up over the weekend. Scoring 60 points, Harvey collected a double-double on night one of the crossover event and her first career triple-double on the next night. She totaled 18 rebounds, 21 assists and 14 steals over the two days.
