SAN DIEGO, CA (3/19/2024) -- San Diego Miramar College's Cooper Buchanan and Palomar College's Tess Altevers-Harris have been named the PCAC Athletes of the Week.

Buchanan, a middle blocker for the Jets finished last week with 17 kills, including a season-high 13 against Palomar on Wednesday, a game in which he hit .571, a season-high. On the defensive side of the ball, he finished with three digs and nine blocks. 

Altevers-Harris, the shortstop for the Comets, went 3-6 on the week, including a home run, her first of the season, on Friday against Grossmont College. She totaled six RBI, four against the Griffins, and scored three runs. She also had one stolen base against San Diego City College on Wednesday.
