SAN DIEGO, CA (3/26/2024) -- San Diego Mesa College's Trevor Clark and San Diego City College's Sinaia Haskal have been named this week's Athletes of the Week.

Clark hit an impressive .609 last week finishing with 25 total kills on 48 attacks. He also totaled 12 digs and 3 digs in the two conference matches. He recorded a season-high 17 kills against Palomar College on Wednesday. Clark and the No. 2 Olympians have been coasting through their conference schedule with a 5-0 record at the time of writing. 

Haskel is the No. 1 for City's women's tennis team and she swept the Jags on Tuesday going 6-0, 6-0 in her singles and 8-0 in doubles. On Friday the Knights had a big match against Mt. San Jacinto for a piece of the conference title. She went 6-1, 2-6, 12-10 in singles play and won the doubles match 8-1. She then won two non-conference matches, an 8-4 doubles match against Paradise Valley and 7-5, 6-1 singles match against Orange Coast.
