SAN DIEGO, CA (3/26/2024) -- Three PCAC schools are ranked in the top 10 in the CCCMVCA poll. San Diego Mesa College (14-3) is ranked No. 2, while Grossmont College (7-6) and San Diego Miramar College (6-6) are No. 8 and 10, respectively. 

The conference volleyball schedule is half over and Mesa is leading the way at 5-0. While three teams are in the top 10, Mesa has cruised through the conference schedule with ease with five sweeps. Miramar and Grossmont will duke it out for second place. In their second matchup, the two went five sets, with the Jets pulling out the win. Miramar jumped out to take set one 25-20 before Grossmont answered with two hard-fought sets of their own (25-22 and 28-25). With the Griffins looking like they were going to run away with the match, the Jets took flight and answered with a 25-20 set four win and a 15-8 set five victory. The two will settle the score on Wednesday, April 3rd at Miramar. 

The conference season will conclude on April 10th. 3C2A Men's Volleyball Quarterfinals will be held on April 19th. The state championship will be held at Orange Coast College on April 25th and 27th.
