The Palomar women’s cross country team captured the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference championship at Morley Field on Friday in San Diego. The Comets had four harriers in the top-10 and five make the all-conference team.

The San Bernardino Valley women’s cross country team captured the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference title on Saturday in San Bernardino. The Wolverines were led by freshman Alissa Johnson, who won the individual title.
The first big meet of the 2018 season is in the books and Imperial Valley College has the early favorite for the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference individual title in Sabrina Benavides. The freshman ran away from a talented pack at the Palomar Invitational on Friday.
Last season was a great one for the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference as Cuyamaca College finished second at the state finals and San Bernardino Valley College finished 16th. This season the conference returns a number of stars and the results could be up for grabs.
