Diandra Jara and Isabelle Dalton finished the Coach Downey Classic 5k course in fifth and sixth place, respectively, to help the Knights earn second place for the second consecutive year. City had four runners place in the top-25, including Joscelyn Silva (22nd) and Kai Bathea (25th).

Bathea was just behind Silva as she crossed the finish line in 25:00.

Alicen Garcia clocked in at 25:33, which was good for 28th overall, and Nihal Samah came in 29th with a time of 25:39, 31 seconds faster than last year.

Pauline Monganga rounded out the top-7 for the Knights with a finish time of 26:14 (32nd).
